How It Works

Our "Simple Aircraft Ownership Plan" allows owners to actually own their own aircraft. The program allows up to 4 individuals to own equal equity in the company that owns, as its only asset, 100% of the aircraft. As an owner you will have your percentage of the aircraft depreciation.

  • A One Time Ownership Capital contribution will purchase a share of the company that owns the aircraft.
  • A Monthly Ownership Contribution is invoiced to the owner, which covers all of the fixed costs of aircraft ownership such as, hangar rental, aircraft insurance, aircraft management, aircraft detailing, pilot training, accounting fees and other service fees. As an AFM partner you will know the flying costs down to the last penny for any budget period. Our Monthly Ownership Contribution is reviewed every quarter.

AFM will bill the Owner a Low Hourly Rate covering maintenance, reserves, fuel and pilot.

Any owner can schedule the aircraft as much as he/she wishes. All scheduling and scheduling conflicts are handled by AFM and a public calendar is posted for your viewing. Through our sister company, National Air Charters, Inc., owners can switch between aircrafts in the program at ownership rates in the event of scheduling conflicts or changes in your mission.

The AFM Shared Ownership Program retains the cost savings of co-ownership while providing solutions to the disadvantages of co-owning a single business aircraft. If for any reason this is not for you, we offer a "No Risk, Buy Back Guarantee" where we buy back your interest in the company that owns the aircraft.
